How to add the Google +1 Button to your website

Google just launched Google +1 today a social sharing tool to allow you to +1 a website you like online, in the search results, even in the pay per click section and on YouTube.

This was a way for Google to compete with Facebook’s Like Button and help determine more relevant search results for users based on what their friends and connections +1 as a vote for that website.

This is important to you as a small business owner, website publisher, or blogger because this will be used in Google’s algorithm as a social signal. So if you are wondering how to get a +1 on your website Google has made it easy with a dedicated page to implement the code. We are also confident if you are using WordPress as your content management system of your website the plugin developers will be sure to roll out a Google +1 plugin and when we see that happen we will update you then.

For now you can go to Google’s +1 webmasters page and follow the simple steps to implement a Google +1 button on your website. If you do not have a small business website we can help make, market, and manage all of this for you. Head over to our LiftedWebsites.com site to learn more.
