ReachLocal just reached a partnership with Google to become the premier partner Globally for Google’s Adwords campaign management. Zorik Gordon, President and CEO of ReachLocal said, “We are also pleased to announce today the formation of a global partnership with Google to accelerate our international expansion efforts. International markets now represent more than 20% of ReachLocal’s business, and we believe this partnership will be a significant contributor in our strategy to increase our presence overseas,”
We are happy for ReachLocal as our founder was once an internet marketing consultant in their Arizona market and we are a shareholder now. This is also a positive since we think they are a great fit internationally for local businesses who want to gain more tracked calls and optimized PPC campaigns. We are a bit different as we only work on an exclusive basis with our clients in certain local markets and only in the states. But overall this is a big win for awareness in the local internet marketing industry especially since we firmly believe local small business can benefit greatly from an optimized and fully managed local pay per click campaign with call tracking.
Since Social Media is all the buzz nowadays, news like this brings to the forefront once again to small businesses there are ways to track a great ROI in an efficient manner in front of new customers that are actively searching online on sites like Google. We believe Google’s local business solutions like Google Adwords, Google Places, even Google Alerts for tracking your brand name should be the foundation and starting point for a small business before thinking about a Social Media strategy or approach.
